Honda India recently launched the upgraded version of its 125cc Shine with the launch of Honda CB Shine.The new Honda CB Shine now comes included with viscous air filter and maintenance free battery that were introduced in the recently launched CB Unicorn.Honda CB Shine now complies with the new emission norms that came to effect from 1st April, 2010.

The new Honda CB Shine comes powered with 125cc 4 Stroke, OHC, SI Engine produces a 10.3 Bhp @ 7500 rpm of maximum power and a peak torque of 11 Nm @ 5500 rpm.The bike has 4 gear transmission.The new Honda CB Shine takes just 5.30 sec to reach 0-60 kph.

About the design and style the new Honda CB Shine has a stylish fuel tank with well-designed knee recesses and a chrome made filler-cap.The tank has a capacity to hold 11 litres of fuel.The Shine’s grab rail is straightforward and non-alloy.

INDIA'S TOP CAR MANUFACTURER MARUTI SUZUKI HIKES THE PRICE OF THEIR CARS

Following the increase in input costs and the introduction of new emission standards, top Indian car maker Maruti Suzuki raised the prices of its vehicles by upto Rs.10000.
The prices of Maruti Suzuki cars like Ritz and A-Star has been increased by Rs.1000, Estillo by Rs.2500 while that of Swift has been increased by Rs.3750. Among other models for which prices have been raised, Dzire will cost Rs.7000 more and mid-size sedan SX4 will cost Rs.9000 more.
The company has also increased the price of its recently introduced multi-utility van, Eeco by Rs.10000. Prices have also been raised for BS-III compliant cars like Maruti 800 and Omni by Rs.3000 and Gypsy by Rs.10000.

Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan to launch next year?

With the new Giulietta now out in the open, Alfa Romeo's attention is turning to its big brother. Set to replace the 159 sometime next year, the highly-anticipated nuova Giulia promises to improve on the outgoing sedan's lackluster driving dynamics.

Based on Alfa's variable C/D platform, the Giulia is tipped to get a McPherson front suspension with a twin-link rear setup. As with the Alfa 159, the Giulia is expected to be front-drive, with the trick Q4 all-wheel-drive system available as an option, hooked up to a variety of turbodiesel and MultiAir gasoline engines.

Unlike the MiTo and Giulietta, both of which are hatchback-only, the Giulia promises both four-door sedan and five-door wagons as part of the mix. The tantalizing end of the range, however, is tipped to include an in-house GTA model – with at least 300 horsepower, all-wheel drive and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission – and a lightweight, front-drive version with 350 horsepower to be co-developed with famed Alfa tuner Autodelta.

We'll have to wait to see if the speculation proves accurate – and, for that matter, if the car will take its design cues from the 8C Competizione, the Bertone Pandion or the Pininfarina 2uettottanta. But in the meantime, you're invited to tinker around with the online configurator that Alfa just launched for the Giulietta hatchback, where you'll find you can order it in any color you want, as long as it's a shade of gray.

VOLKSWAGEN UP TO BE LAUNCHED IN INDIA BY THE MIDDLE OF 2010

Europe's leading car manufacturer Volkswagen plans to launch its small car Volkswagen Up in India by the middle of 2010. The expected price of the car is Rs.3 lakh and it will be the cheapest car from the Volkswagen. The aim of Volkswagen is to make place in India's large "small car market". Volkswagen aims to sell 240,000 vehicles per year in India by 2012.
Volkswagen Up made its debut at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show in Germany. The car's name is the synonym for departure, activity, dynamics and the future.
Volkswagen Up has 18-inch wheels. The interior of Volkswagen Up features a unique flat folding seat system. The seats of this 4-seater are air inflatable so the seats fit every body shape. Up also has 2 monitors, one 8 inch monitor shows the vehicle speed, fuel level and range, as well as your CO2 emissions, the second 7 inch monitor controls climate control, radio volume, music selection, telephone, navigation, photos and movies etc and a unique central display. The Up measures 3.45 metres(11.3ft.) and has a width of 1.63 metres.
